Catherine and Dominique wanted to update the look of their country home in Saint-Basile by adopting a modern farmhouse style. This timeless American design, known for its monochromatic, neutral colour palettes, vertical siding and porches of all sizes, has been very much in vogue in Quebec in recent years.

A distinctive look

The old aluminum sliding windows, which were less energy-efficient, were replaced with hybrid hung windows, designed with a delicate grid pattern and PRESIDENT’s unique ISO-THERMA Technology. The homeowners opted for black exterior framing but preferred white PVC indoors to keep the look clean and bright.
