Double-hung windows feature two movable sashes that open by sliding vertically. The lower sash slides upward, while the upper sash slides downward. It’s one of the easiest opening systems to use—you’ll never have to force it!

The traditional style of sash windows is sure to add a distinctive touch to your home. They also offer many practical features, including excellent value for money, easy installation, and precise adjustment of the window’s opening.

Another advantage over single-hung windows is that they allow for optimal air circulation in your home, ensuring a complete air exchange. Simply open both sashes halfway, so that warm air (which tends to rise) is drawn out through the top and cool air (which tends to sink) flows in through the bottom.
