Sylvie from Sainte-Julie wanted to completely change the appearance of her house, and also improve its energy efficiency by replacing the entire fenestration. The arched front window and front door were the main sources of energy loss. Having in mind to repaint in white the brick in front, the current fenestration configuration did not lend itself to the desired contemporary look. The owner took the opportunity to update the look of her property.
The arched window was very poorly insulated at the base, it was no longer waterproof, which led to an increase in electricity costs. The old door had an 80’s style, which did not reflect the appearance coveted by the owners in addition to showing signs of air infiltration.
Based on the identified needs, our fenestration consultant offered a customized solution. We suggested replacing the entire current PVC windows with elegant black hybrid windows. The thinner frame of the PRESIDENT windows maximizes the light input, gives greater visibility to the outside and offers a clean and contemporary appearance to the property.
